The album begins with an intro and then goes into what I consider the most "epic" track on the album. "Spread Your Fire" is one of the album's best overall tracks with the backing choruses and amazing drumming. The following track "Angels and Demons" holds the album in place with a furious guitar solo and hypnotic drumming. Taking me back to the day is the track "Wishing Well". At first I found this sound a bit annoying because it sounded like a bad 1980's ballad, but the metal presence is somewhat noticeable throughout the track and eventually grew on me. My favorite track on "Temple of Shadows" is a song called "Temple of Hate". Just from the amazing guitar licks in the beginning and the old school metal feel to it, it quickly found a place deep within my heart. The following two tracks slow the pace of the record down, but is quickly brought back to speed with "Winds of Destination".

There's a hidden track on the album entitled "Gate XIII" which signifies the end of The Shadow Hunter's journey. The track is an instrumental and the music is so beautiful that some portions make you believe that our hero has survived and will live to see another day, while some parts of the song leave me to believe that The Shadow Hunter has died a horrific death. Either or, this is an amazing song. Although confusing, it best tells the story as a whole and leaves you wondering what will happen next.
