How true. Antigama's latest release is entitled "Discomfort" (a
re-release from about a year ago) and friends, let me tell you what-I
felt discomfort! My god, I mean when I didn't feel like I was in a
car going over a mountain and falling a thousand feet to my horrific
death, I felt like a hand drill was being taken to the base of my
brain and drilled for all that it could get. And when I didn't feel
like that, I felt like I was thrown into a tank of hungry piranhas and
was torn to shreds! Now, this wasn't to my liking, but I know there
are people out there who will eat this stuff up with a spoon!
The Polish band been around since 2002 and has made quite an impact on all who have had the fortune/misfortune to come their way. "Discomfort" is the band's latest release and has 13 tracks most of which are under two minutes and a track entitled "Fala (the seed remix)" which is a little over 10 minutes in length. Now, out of those 10 minutes, it's not until a little after 7 minutes into it do you start to hear music. Now, if you like the feeling of having your head ran over by a steamroller, this is the perfect album for you-pure brutality! If you're like myself and don't like your music quite this extreme, you'll probably want to pass. |
