ANSWERS is the band's sophomore release and is a concept album that tells the story of the world's population living in two different colonies-one here on earth and the other on the moon and with time have become totally different civilizations. The album runs smooth with the ever important introduction "Passion of My Heart" to the middle ground of "Saturn's Reign" to the culmination of the entire album with "End Game" and "Answers". The story telling is flawless as is their ability to paint a picture for the audience.

Even though there are quite a few extremely interesting storylines in the album, there's one nearing the opening that caught my attention. Along with "Lockstep's" great emotional angle (the fight within, questioning those around us) the verses to this song remind me of "Cemetery Gates". Also gracing ANSWERS are the tracks "The Way of Death" and "Decisions" featuring guest female vocals of Beverly Luse. "Decisions" reminds me more along the lines of Evanescence with those duel male/female vocals.

It's reassuring that with bands like Ascension Theory, Avian, amongst others, the outlook is jaw dropping and the future is bright for future progressive metal.
